New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Kesha drops her new song "Raising Hell" ft. Big Freedia, further cementing the legacy of a modern pop icon who has always used her rebellious spirit, irreverent sense of humor, quick-witted songwriting and undeniable heart to reinvent herself and bring joy to her fans. It's the first taste of what's to come off her upcoming album 'High Road', which will be released January 10 on Kemosabe/RCA Records.

The song begins soft with a piano and Kesha's lush vocals before Big Freedia commands "Let's go!" and a club-ready beat drops while Kesha unfurls fun-loving bars about embracing life's wild moments. Co-written with Wrabel, Sean Douglas and Stint and produced by Stint and Omega, "Raising Hell" is a raucous celebration of the artist's trademark IDGAF nature. As Kesha says during the chorus, "Mama raised me well, but I don't wanna go to heaven without raising hell."

Following the monumental success of her GRAMMY-nominated album 'Rainbow', the release of 'High Road' finds an artist on a joyful musical journey of self-discovery. For 'High Road', Kesha enlisted an eclectic roster of collaborators/songwriters/producers including John Hill, Dan Reynolds, Stuart Crichton, Jeff Bhasker, Drew Pearson, Brian Wilson, Sturgill Simpson, Nate Ruess, Justin Tranter, Stint, Wrabel, and Pebe Sebert among others.

The emotional and stylistic range found on the album is a blend of heavenly highs and emotional depths. Kesha's swagger is front & center, paired with brilliant kiss-off one-liners, dancefloor grooves, and reminders to pay the haters no mind. Frisky, rap-based tracks show-off her skills as a lyrical spitfire, while elsewhere on the album a folkier side emerges. With a dream-pop ode to a best friendship, a reflective ballad about growing up without a father, and plenty of lust and laughter, 'High Road' traverses the emotional spectrum.

It's been an incredible two years since Kesha returned to the charts in 2017 with her critically acclaimed #1 album 'Rainbow' which earned the singer/songwriter her first GRAMMY nominations and was called "an artistic feat" by Entertainment Weekly and "the best music of her career" by Rolling Stone.

The singer/songwriter was also named one of Time Magazine's Time 100, she released a behind-the-scenes Webby-winning documentary 'Rainbow - The Film' on Apple Music, performed "Praying" at the 2018 GRAMMYs which Vanity Fair called "the night's most powerful performance", set sail on her own festival cruise ("Kesha's Weird & Wonderful Rainbow Ride"), headlined Dan Reynolds' LoveLoud Festival, collaborated with Macklemore ("Good Old Days") and The Struts ("Body Talks"), and contributed to the soundtracks for On the Basis of Sex ("Here Comes The Change") and The Angry Birds Movie 2 ("Best Day").

Kesha has sold more than 14 million total album equivalents worldwide, has approximately 6.9 billion audio streams and 1.7 billion video streams worldwide, and has had 9 Top 10 hits on The Billboard Hot 100, including four #1 singles at Top 40 Radio - "TiK ToK," "Your Love Is My Drug," "Die Young," and "Timber."
