New York, NY (Top40 Charts) SHAKIRA LEA has been writing songs, winning awards and performing for nearly 10 years - and is still only 20 years old!

In late 2018 SHAKIRA LEA was named a WINNER of the prestigious WHYALLA RECORDING SCHOLARSHIP (www.whyallarecording.com) and released her Debut Original Single "I MISS YOU" in February 2019 - hitting Number 18 on the Australian iTunes Country Music chart! "I MISS YOU" continues to receive airplay across Australia and the world.

SHAKIRA LEA's "I MISS YOU' is dedicated to anyone who's experienced loss, and found a way to heal. This power ballad showcases Shakira Lea's emotive vocals and sincere message.

Now the Official Music Video for "I MISS YOU" has been released and can be seen on YouTube and via SHAKIRA LEA'S website at www.shakiraleamusic.com

Launched in October to coincide with "Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month" the Music Video for "I MISS YOU" highlights stunning Outback scenery and touching lyrics, while the closing credits dedicate the film clip to Shakira's own Aunt who had the lived experience of losing a baby.

"Whyalla Recording Scholarship" provides the resources for a young Original Regional South Australian to audition for, and win a Professional recording package valued at over $10,000 courtesy of Mark Tempany & Alison Hams and their award-winning music studio STORMFRONT PRODUCTIONS (www.stormfrontproductions.info)

STORMFRONT PRODUCTIONS have been named TOP 5 finalists in the 2019 SOUTH AUSTRALIAN MUSIC AWARDS, and Alison was named a TOP 3 finalist in the 2019 AUSTRALIAN WOMEN IN MUSIC AWARDS (#AWMA19)
