Gloria Trevi has confirmed her participation as the opening act for Premios de la
Radio 2019, Regional Mexican Music's biggest awards night.
Premios de la
Radio 2019 organizers are proud to confirm the participation of
Gloria Trevi, one of Latin Pop's most internationally renowned recording artists, as its exclusive opening act for the 20th anniversary celebration of the longest-running, uninterrupted and single-handedly most important music awards show in Regional Mexican music in the United States.
Trevi, who's putting her successful "Diosa de la Noche" Tour on hold, which includes an upcoming show at the Los Angeles Forum on November 9th, will be the opening number for the 20th Anniversary of Premios de la Radio, "The Pride of Mexican Music." She will be performing a special Cumbia version of her latest hit "Abranse Perras," produced exclusively for this event by renowned and talented producer Toy Selectah (of Control Machete). Trevi will also be recognized with a special award for "Highest Rated Female Mexican Star in the World."
Some of the musical collaborations and world premieres on this year's show include:
Belinda and Horacio Palencia performing their hit "Amor a Primera Vista," Legado 7 with Herencia de Patrones performing "Cosas de la Clica," and Adriel Favela and
Natanael Cano performing together for the first time "El de la Codeína." In addition, the show will feature first-time musical collaborations from La Adictiva and Rio Roma,
Gerardo Ortiz and Virlán García,
Luis Coronel and La Séptima Banda, and a special segment dedicated to Norteño music by Maquinaria Norteña, La Fiera de Ojinaga and Energía Norteña.
Premios de la
Radio 2019 will be broadcast live from Dallas,
Texas on November 7th on the EstrellaTV Network at 8PM/7PM C and will be preceded by a one-hour red carpet special at 7PM/6PM C.
