New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Gothenburg, Sweden's punk/rock quintet Movin In
Stereo was formed by New Zealand vocalist Scott
James and guitarist John Wennergren, with drummer Ola Stridh joining the band soon after. They released their debut EP 'My Dear Effigy' in 2018 to much positive feedback and also gained the band support for ex-Turbonegro frontman Hank von Hell on his 'Pretty Decent Tour'. The band is now also comprised of guitarist
Elias Hellström and Scotland-born bassist Rosie McClune.
In early 2019, the band released 'Authority Blues' as a stand-alone single, and now their sophomore EP, 'New Blood', marks their first release with Wiretap Records, which will see a US vinyl pressing in early 2020.

What others have said about Movin In Stereo:
"...some Menzingers-like melodies going on while also bringing The Loved Ones... Later on they sound a bit like
Alkaline Trio minus the goth stuff...and pack some of The Gaslight Anthem's melancholy the next. The least you can say is that Movin' On
Stereo sure know how to pick their influences. But they are also capable of writing pop-punk songs that can stand on their own two feet and are as catchy as they are high on energy."- Punkrocktheory
"... brought to mind the melodic punk lean of Down by Law with a bit more of a "rock" polish. I'm constantly remarking about how I'm a sucker for a catchy tune, and this EP is full of 'em."- Aversion Online
