New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Already a 2x GRAMMY Award winner for his work on Kacey Musgraves' 'Golden Hour,' Big Yellow Dog Music artist Daniel Tashian brings home a nomination for Best Children's Music Album for the 62nd annual GRAMMY Awards for his recent release 'I Love Rainy Days' (5.3).
This marks the Big Yellow Dog Music label's first GRAMMY nomination and Tashian's fourth. His extremely personal 'I Love Rainy Days' features background vocals from his three daughters — Matilda, Tinkerbell, and Tigerlily — and received praise from the likes of Emmy-winning music supervisor Sue Jacobs (Big Little Lies, Sharp Objects, Silver Linings Playbook, and American Hustle) and music author and historian Robert K. Oermann.
Tashian says, "this is such a meaningful nomination for both me and my family!"
Tashian recently produced the new "All Is Found - Kacey Musgraves Version" featured in Disney's Frozen II Soundtrack and has a new project forthcoming with 6x GRAMMY Award winner Burt Bacharach. Tashian also boasts awards from CMA, ACM, and BMI and has worked with artists like Lucie Silvas, Tenille Townes, and Lily & Madeline, and many others.
