New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Composer, pianist, and singer Gabriel Kahane's 2018 Nonesuch Records debut album, Book of Travelers, is out now available on limited-edition, translucent orange vinyl. To pick up a copy, head to the Top40-Charts.com Store now.

Book of Travelers comprises a ten-song musical travelogue Kahane wrote after the journey he embarked upon the day after the 2016 Presidential election: a looping, 8,980-mile railway journey through the United States. He left behind his cell phone and other internet-connected devices, spending the next two weeks with dozens of strangers whose stories are woven into the cycle. "[An] articulate, musically far-reaching travelogue," says Uncut. "Exquisitely crafted songs... full of affection for their inhabitants... Musically fascinating and hauntingly empathetic." "Extraordinary," says the San Francisco Chronicle; "vivid and wholly original." Rolling Stone calls it a "stunning portrait of a singular moment in America."

Gabriel Kahane is currently on tour with the Louisville Orchestra, performing songs from Book of Travelers in Louisville tonight and tomorrow and in New Albany, Indiana, on Saturday. He heads to Europe in February to perform in France, Luxembourg, Germany, Netherlands, Finland, and Denmark.
