Will & Jada Pinkett Smith To Produce World Tour With Music's Biggest Names & The First Performer Is...
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Will and Jada Pinkett Smith's Westbrook Inc. has teamed up with Apollo World Touring to announce Tuesday (Jan. 14) a multi-genre event series set for a slew of cities across the globe, Billboard can exclusively reveal.

Aptly titled World Tour, the schedule of live events will touch down in major cities, including Montreal, Berlin, Milan, Seoul, Taipei, Osaka and Miami. Each show promises high-profile artists, local stars and the biggest DJs in dance music. The nonstop, year-round fun will also be accessible to fans at home through exciting content formats spread across a number of different platforms.

The first stop of the World Tour will take over Melbourne, Australia, on March 14, during the Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix. Robbie Williams will take the stage as the headliner, with other acts to be announced in the coming weeks.

"On behalf of Will and Jada and the entire Westbrook Team, we're so excited to partner with Apollo World Touring on this innovative event series," Tera Hanks, president of Westbrook Inc., said in a statement. "From the inception of World Tour, we've been excited with its potential as a global franchise to bring mind-blowing experiences and unparalleled access to fans and creators worldwide. We're gathering some of the biggest names in music to celebrate cities around the world and the amazing creativity found there. We can't wait for everyone to join us on the World Tour."

"Will and the team at Westbrook are groundbreaking innovators and fantastic partners, channeling unrivaled global recognition with excellence on working with the best cutting-edge creative talent around the world," Paul Morrison, chairman and co-founder of Apollo World Touring, mirrored in a statement. "World Tour will feed global audiences hungry for great content - bringing the best in entertainment to provide a unique platform which will celebrate the best that our host cities have to offer."

British promoter and live music agent John Giddings is tapped as World Tour's global lead promoter. "World Tour promises to be nothing short of extraordinary," the Solo chief says, "and will deliver unique experiences both on location and online to the global fan community."

The full talent lineup for all World Tour events this year will be announced soon. In the meantime, visit WorldTouring.com for up-to-date information.
