Niia's New Song "Obsession" Is A Cheeky, Modern Analogue To A Mariah Carey Favorite

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today, Niia releases "Obsession," the latest cut from her forthcoming sophomore album 'II: La Bella Vita' (2/14). "Obsession" is Niia's answer to the Mariah Carey favorite and viral sensation "Obsessed," and the chorus is a modern analogue to the original. In Niia's words, the song is about "jealousy and competition between two women," with a "lighthearted, cheeky" twist. High Snobiety called the song, "a bold reimagining of one of the R&B queens hits that is (dare we say) more astonishingly lush, affecting, and downright musical than the original."
