New York, NY (Top40 Charts) In 2017, the LA electronic rock group Skyhaven sparked some hype in the instrumental prog rock scene after working with Polyphia's Timothy Henson and Scott LePage on their debut EP Liftoff. Today, the band is reborn as a slimmed down duo as they share their latest single "U Do," which features soulful guest vocals from Minnesota native, Keston Wright.

"U Do" (which debuted live on Idobi Radio) embraces Skyhaven's affinity for pop/R&B while still carrying a torch for mathy guitar licks and nu-prog rhythms. The moody track paves the way for their upcoming debut album DRUGLUST and dials into a complicated relationship with a self-destructive person and being addicted to their mess.

"We wanted this video to represent the bittersweetness of addiction, how it can be romanticized and seen as something glamorous at times. While at the end of the day it ends in burning out and something that is less than desirable," says guitarist Jake Johnston who is joined in the band by guitarist Dominic Jadrich.

"Skyhaven match the double-bass-driven underpinnings of a metalcore band with effervescent retro-pop hooks and over-modulated EDM production."
- City Pages

"[they] stand out from the Polyphias and the CHONs. We're hyped on this band, and you should be too."
- The New Fury
