New York, NY (Top40 Charts) It is a song that touches on anxiety, release, denial and frustration. The song recognizes, in a tongue and cheek manner, that regardless of our diversions and impulses, we are all just atoms, matter. We're just chaotically bouncing around and reacting off one another, explains John Douglas.

The Atlanta-based Indie Rock band Ten Story Relapse has announced the release of their new single and alternative rock video "Attraction Reaction". The energetic new song has been long-awaited by the band's fans and was released on https://www.tenstoryrelapse.band on February 11th, 2020.

'It had been a while since we'd sat around and recorded anything new. We were all working on a variety of different projects after "Boxes" was released. Scott Patton was busy with his ongoing musical endeavors with Jennifer Nettles and Sugarland. Meanwhile, Mark and I were immersed with Josh Golden working on another project called "The Mighty High Heels". A casual gathering last summer grew into a yearning to do more," says vocalist John Douglas.

As far as the story behind the indie rock video goes, "Attraction Reaction" was created as a very straight-ahead and energetic tune from some initial "The Mighty High Heels" sessions. John shared that the song development occurred after Scott, Mark, and John rediscovered it and began envisioning the tune as more straight ahead and guitar-driven track. The new vibe helped drive the energy and the lyrical content and resulted in the alternative rock video, directed by Austin Taylor

"It is a song that touches on anxiety, release, denial and frustration. The song recognizes, in a tongue and cheek manner, that regardless of our diversions and impulses, we are all just atoms, and matter, driven by chemical reactions. We're just chaotically bouncing around and reacting off one another," explains John Douglas.
