LOS ANGELES (UMe Records) - Three of the most extraordinary women to ever grace a country stage are celebrated with new editions of "The Definitive Collection" series, featuring digitally remastered original recordings in packages offering new extensive liner notes and numerous photos. Each will be released June 7, 2005.

"Loretta Lynn - The Definitive Collection" (MCA Nashville/UMe) is the country music icon's musical autobiography. The compilation boasts 25 of her 52 Top 10s and all 16 of her No 1s: "Don't Come Home A-Drinkin' (With Lovin' On Your Mind)," "Fist City," "Woman Of The World (Leave My World Alone)," "Coal Miner's Daughter," "One's On The Way," "Rated 'X,'" "Love Is The Foundation," "Trouble In Paradise," "Out Of My Head And Back In My Bed," "Somebody Somewhere (Don't Know What He's Missin' Tonight)," "She's Got You" and the Conway Twitty duets "After The Fire Is Gone," "Lead Me On," "Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man," "As Soon As I Hang Up The Phone" and "Feelins'."
The other classics are "The Pill," "Wine, Women, And Song," "Happy Birthday," "Blue Kentucky Girl," "You Ain't Woman Enough (To Take My Man)," "You've Just Stepped In (From Stepping Out On Me)," "You're Looking At Country," "When The Tingle Becomes A Chill" and "I Can't Feel You Anymore."

"Patty Loveless - The Definitive Collection" (Hip-O/MCA Nashville/UMe) marks her first retrospective to include every MCA chart hit plus hits from her Epic tenure. The album chronicles her early years with four cuts from her 1987 self-titled debut album and three from her 1988 breakthrough, "If My Heart Had Windows," two of which made the Top 10, including the title cut and Steve Earle-penned No 2 charter "A Little Bit In Love." Every remaining selection was Top 30, 10 of them Top 10, four of those No 1: "Timber, I'm Falling In Love" and "Chains" from 1989's "Honky Tonk Angel," and "You Can Feel Bad" and "Lonely Too Long" from 1996's "The Trouble With The Truth." The other Top 10s are "Blue Side Of Town," "Don't Toss Us Away," "The Lonely Side Of Love," "On Down The Line," "I'm That Kind Of Girl," "Hurt Me Bad (In A Real Good Way)" and "Nobody Loves You Like I Do." Remaining are Lucinda Williams' "The Night's Too Long," "Blue Memories," "Jealous Bone" and "Can't Help Myself From Loving You."

"Allison Moorer - The Definitive Collection" (MCA Nashville/ UMe) is the first retrospective for one of alt-country's most acclaimed artists. Moorer scored when "A Soft Place To Fall" was Oscar nominated from the 1998 film "The Horse Whisperer." Her debut album that year, "Alabama Song," added "Long Black Train," "Alabama Song," "Set You Free" and "Easier To Forget." She returned with 2000's "The Hardest Part," with the title cut, "Is It Worth It?" and "Send Down An Angel." 2002's "Miss Fortune" yielded "Hey Jezebel," "Steal The Sun," "Tumbling Down" and "Dying Breed." Also heard are Jessi Colter's "I Ain't The One" with Lonesome Bob from a Los Straitjackets album; the trad "Moonshiner" on the "Songcatcher" soundtrack; Colter's "Storms Never Last" from the Waylon Jennings tribute "Lonesome, On'ry And Mean," and selections from the live "Show" - "Don't Cry No Tears," "I'll Break Before I Bend," "Let Go" and, joined by older sister Shelby Lynne, "Is Heaven Good Enough For You."
