BUFFALO, NY (Good Charmel Records) - Good Charamel recording artists Last Conservative have locked down a national tour in support of their critically-hailed debut On to the Next One. Kicking off at Chicago's Elbo Room on May 18th, this run will bring them out to the West Coast for a show at Los Angeles' Troubador on June 15th and then back East again. In addition, they will be featured on MTV2's Advance Warning which features 'artists on the verge of breaking.' This episode debuts on May 22nd. Their video for the single "On to the Next One" is also in active rotation getting 20 to 30 spins a week on MTV's college network, MTVu.

Fueled by the emotions and enthusiasm of a highly emotive and driven songwriter/vocalist/guitarist, TJ Zindle and backed by David Julian (guitars), Mike Zeiss (bass), and Tom McClusky (drums), Last Conservative packs quite a punch. From the slash and burn guitar punch of "On to the Next One" to the melodic and soaring "Over My Head" to the chugging rhythms of "I Know You Know I Know", these 13 tracks of unrestrained intensity builds and explodes in all its unbridled glory. In the live setting, their energy and passion is visceral and tangible, and completely cathartic. "It's such a cliché, but we really do live for the road," explains TJ.
"I've always had a real hunger for meeting new people and being put in new situations. I'm a huge fan of being in some of these weird little dive bars. Something really exciting about playing new places for me."
I just love this band... They have given me an opportunity to use their awesome songwriting and vitality to revisit the youthful, experimentally naive and wonderfully confused minds of an amazingly adept and rapidly maturing rock band. TJ Zindle is the embodiment of a charismatic front man and coupled with guitarist Dave Julian and Last Conservative, they are truly craftsmen of sound, melody and technology.

- Robby Takac
(bassist for Goo Goo Dolls' and Prez of Good Charamel Records)

In addition to their music, Last Conservative is heavily committed to the Music Is Art tour that brings the performing arts back into the high school curriculum. Created by Good Charamel's president (and Goo Goo Dolls' bassist) Robby Takac, Music is Art is a free full-day program that he and the bands of his label, Last Conservative and The Juliet Dagger, present to schools to deliver positive messages of character building, self-esteem and self-awareness through live performances and presentations. Based in New York State but currently being developed on a national level, Music Is Art teaches positive messages through music. 'Art gives kids an outlet for expressing their feelings during a difficult time in their lives," adds David. "It also works the creative side of the brain. I know everyone's heard a lot about the studies showing that that art, specifically music, also helps in other areas (math, science). Without an outlet, those emotions have nowhere to go.'

Produced and mixed by Robby Takac, On to the Next One is perfect testament to a band who is on the verge of exploding. 'We've always been and always will be a live band,' TJ continues. 'We live to be on stage with the volume cranked up high in front of and for our fans.'
