ORLANDO, FL. (LCO - Levine Communications Office) - Leading digital distribution service Promo Only MPE and technology partner Destiny Media Technologies announced today that famed rocker and Motley Crue drummer, Tommy Lee, has requested "Tryin To Be Me," the new single off of his album "Tommy Lee Presents: Tommyland The Ride," be distributed exclusively through the Promo Only MPE system.

Tommy Lee is currently on tour with Motley Crue leading up to the launch of his new televised reality series set to premier August 9th on NBC, "Tommy Lee Goes to College."

"Tommy Lee & Scott Humphry are reinventing the traditional label model with the release of Tommy's album "Tommyland The Ride," and having Promo Only service the first single "Tryin To Be Me" was critical in making sure we could service radio on a national level all a the same time and in a secure fashion," said Bob Divney of CO5, Tommy Lee's promotion team. "Promo Only's Digital delivery system is also model breaking and is the future of music distribution for labels to get their music to radio."

"Tommy Lee is the first artist to come to us asking specifically for Promo Only MPE to distribute his music," said Dean Ernst, Director of the Promo Only MPE project. "He is a trendsetter, and his endorsement says a lot for our system. We look forward to more artists demanding our service."

Tommy Lee's new track "Tryin To Be Me" was made available to radio at 5:00pm ET on Tuesday, May 17th, 2005. The new album will be available in stores on August 2nd, 2005.

Clear Channel has been using the Promo Only MPE System since September of 2004 and has approved and authorized its use in all of their U.S. stations. Promo Only MPE is currently in use by such radio groups as Cumulus, Infinity, Cox, Citadel, Salem Communications, Radio One, Emmis, Entercom, Sirius, Journal, ABC, DMX, Disney, Univision, Westwood One, Regent, Next Media and a number of other media groups. Additionally, Mediabase, a division of Premiere Radio Networks, has entered into an exclusive partnership to implement the Promo Only MPE System into their service.

Promo Only MPE is a highly sophisticated security system, which locks down the distributed tracks and allows labels to specifically authorize their content to a unique user. Each song is uniquely encrypted so that only those with the Promo Only MPE software can access it. Users can have access to their account on multiple machines therefore making the system completely portable.

Promo Only MPE, which is free to radio, is the music industry's most secure option for digital music delivery. Radio stations can request an account for the Promo Only MPE service by filling out the online form at https://promoonlympe.com/registration.html. Promo Only MPE is a product of Destiny Media Technologies and is exclusively marketed and distributed by Promo Only.
