NEW YORK (J Records) - Multi-Grammy Award winner, singer, songwriter and producer Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds is confirmed to tour with songstress
Anita Baker on selected tour dates as well as solo dates across the country this summer.
Babyface hits the road on June 23 at Viejas Casino in San
Diego and will end his tour with Baker at the United Center in
Chicago on July 30.
Guaranteed to be an incredible performance of memorable hits and soon to be classics, Babyface will delight the audience with a medley of hits that he has either written and/or produced for others (Eric Clapton's "Change The World," Boyz II Men's "End of the Road," Tevin Campbell's "Can We Talk" and Bobby Brown's "Don't Be Cruel") as well as his own repertoire of chart topping songs ("Whip Appeal," "For The Cool In You," "When Can I See You").
Additionally, Babyface will perform selections from his upcoming album, Grown & Sexy, including the album's lead single "Sorry For The Stupid Things."
Grown & Sexy, Babyface's 9th album, will be released on Arista Records July 26. Babyface and Gregg Pagani produced the majority of the album, while Babyface and the Underdogs produced two tracks.
Over the course of the '90s, Babyface not only distinguished himself as the decade's single greatest hitmaker, but as one of the greatest hitmakers in the history of popular music.
