New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Missing Frets has released the album "Pipe Dreams". The album features the songs "Cartel Sage", "Nothing In Between", "Unstuck", "
Crossroads", and "Run". Listeners of modern and classic rock should give this well-written and well-produced album a listen.
The first song, "Cartel Sage", starts the an acoustic guitar before becoming upbeat and utilizing electric guitar. It features a male and female vocal harmony and immediately describes the life of someone who had to build their life from the ground up: "Was born by a farther/That had no place to stay/And out of the mother/That had restless ways". The song also has a music video which shows the band playing the song together and gives the listener an idea of who plays what instrument.
The second song, "Nothing In Between", continues the upbeat sound and contains strong elements of folk. It is guitar-driven and features metaphors, as best used in the lyric "As I hid behind the wall of shame I knew it was not true".

The third song, "Unstuck", starts with layers of electric guitar at mid-volume. The song describes how to become, as the title suggests, unstuck: "Take back your luck/I'll give it back and you will come unstuck". Notably, it features a guitar solo, demonstrating the talents of the guitarist.
The fourth song, "Crosswords", is also guitar-driven with a guitar solo. It tells listeners to "Tear down your defenses", and is lyrically positive. Instrumentally, listeners are treated with more prominent drums, even starting with the drum stick clashes at the very beginning of the song.
The fifth and final song, "Run", starts with a mid-volume mixture of electric guitar and rums, and follows what the listener should now know as The Missing Frets' signature sound: a mixture of electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, drums, and thought-provoking lyrics such as "Walk from yourself".
