NASHVILLE, TN. (Arista Nashville) - New Arista Nashville recording sensation Keith Anderson joins the roster of talents chosen to perform on CMT – Country Music Television's upcoming concert and television event, CMT 100 Greatest Duets. Taping June 8 at Nashville's Gaylord Entertainment Center, the special celebrates country's most beloved duets, pairing some of today's finest talents for renditions of 12 favorites that will serve as a concert climax to the full, six-hour tribute special, airing in September.

The announcement is yet another testament to the growing excitement over Anderson, whose debut single, 'Pickin' Wildflowers,' is currently Top 15 and climbing, while the companion video has become a big fan favorite at CMT, now in heavy rotation and advancing to No 8 on CMT's Top Twenty Countdown.

His Arista Nashville debut disc, Three Chord Country and American Rock & Roll, made impressive inroads last month, debuting at No 13* on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. Fans are continuing to like what they hear, as the disc bucked the most recent week's chart numbers, posting sales gains when most of the chart was showing backward movement over the previous week.

And fans aren't the only ones showing their support, as a recent three-star review in People magazine praised Anderson's style as 'Raw, playful and given to celebrating … southern comforts,' while Music Row lauded, 'He has some excellent songs and a pure, muscular voice.'

One day following the CMT taping, fans will be able to catch Keith in concert as part of the CMA Music Festival's daytime concerts in Nashville.
This week, 'Pickin' Wildflowers' rocks its way to No 13* in R&R and No 17* in Billboard.
