New York, NY (Top40 Charts) On Sunday April 12, the rapper Westside Gunn from Buffalo, New York, revealed on Instagram that he had contracted COVID-19 but had succeeded in defeating the deadly virus.

The Griselda is one of several rappers who have tested positive for the coronavirus in the past month, including Fred The Godson, YNW Melly and Scarface. Respected rebound DJ Go DJ Black N Mild succumbed to the virus in March.
Gunn's new album Pray for Paris is expected to fall on April 17.
