DeDe Lopez celebrates 25 years as an artist with brand new versions of her big hit 'My Lover'!
In 1993 her first single was released but she had her break trough mid 90's under her nickname DeDe and has released five albums' TBA ',' I Do ',' Metaphor 'and' Slave To The Sound (Like A Queen
in Japan) and 'Black Lace & Leater'. The albums have sold more than 500,000 copies.
She has worked with producers and songwriters such as Per Magnusson, David
Kreuger, Max Martin, Kristian Lundin, Herbie, Andreas
Carlsson (Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Celine
Dion), Anders Bagge (Jennifer Lopez, Janet
Jackson, Meja), Father MC, Johan
Ekhé & Ulf Lindström (Robyn), Random Music
(Lutricia McNeal, XLNS, A-Teens) Sean "Barney" Thomas
(Dr. Dre, Snoop Doggy Dogg), Snowflake (Dannii Minogue) and Pras Michel
(The Fugees) among others.
In 1997, she was the only Swedish artist to join Michael Jackson
at a packed Ullevi in Gothenburg. In 1999, she sang to her Japanese fans for the first time. The show took place in the Tokyo Dome and 100,000 fans came to see her show. She and Pras were also opening act to 50 Cent
Over the years, DeDe has collaborated with other international artists such as Dannii Minogue, Fugees star Pras Michel
and most recently Mc Lyte with the song 'Dare To Change The World', written and produced by Denise DeDe Lopez. The song climbed to # 5 on UStop20.
