New Acer C250i Portable Projector With Multi-Angle Projection And Auto-Portrait Mode Now Available In The US
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The portable Acer C250i's auto-portrait mode makes projecting content from a smartphone simple, while its unique design enables multi-angle projection without a stand.

"The new Acer C250i showcases Acer's innovation and commitment to bring to market products that improve and enhance everyday life."

The Acer C250i is a Full HD portable LED projector that projects smartphone content almost anywhere

Its unique and elegant cylindrical design with multiple planes broadcasts imagery on walls, ceilings or any surface without a stand or tripod

It supports auto-portrait mode, so settings don't require adjustment to mirror the smartphone's screen orientation

Requires no time warming up, offers up to 5 hours battery life* and supports wireless connectivity

The Acer C250i portable LED wireless projector with stand-free multi-angle orientation and auto-portrait mode is now available in the United States. This new portable projector weighs just 1.75 lbs. and supports beautiful high-definition 1080p imagery and the easy sharing of smartphone content almost anywhere.

"The new Acer C250i showcases Acer's innovation and commitment to bring to market products that improve and enhance everyday life," said Ronald Lau, Acer America Director - Stationary Products. "Its auto-portrait mode makes projecting content from a smartphone simple, while the Acer C250i's unique design enables multi-angle projection without a stand."

Unlike other projectors limited to horizontal throws, the C250i supports stand-free multi-angle projection with its innovative twisted roll design. This space-saving form factor is stylish and offers customers flexibility in projecting their smartphone screen onto walls, ceilings and almost any surface without requiring a stand or tripod. Placed on its side, users can "roll" the projector to find the best angle for viewing content; vertical orientation supports horizontal wall throws and activates the auto-portrait mode. Created for everyday use, the integrated G-sensor automatically projects images exactly as they're shown on a smartphone screen without changing any settings. The Acer C250i's auto-portrait mode lets customers directly project portrait video chatting or live-streaming sessions (on Facebook or Instagram, for example) wirelessly, utilizing the full projection surface without black bars on the side. Thanks to keystone correction, on-screen content is flawless from every angle.

The embedded 9,000mAh battery provides up to 5 hours of renewable battery life* on a single charge and serves as a portable power bank to recharge phones on the go. Its LED module offers up to a 30,000-hour lifespan, a wide color gamut that is 100 percent NTSC-compatible, 300 ANSI lumens brightness, and a 5,000:1 contrast ratio. A built-in 5W Bluetooth speaker delivers quality audio for movies, music and games.

Both Android and iOS users can connect to the C250i wirelessly for cable-free projection at home or on the road. It also includes a standard HDMI port for connecting and viewing content on a laptop or desktop computer. USB Type-C and Type-A ports support video-out for both smartphones and PCs. The projector is 100% plug and play, so no additional software or drivers are required. The USB Type-A port allows direct multimedia playback from a USB drive for an incredibly sleek and PC-free projection experience.

The Acer C250i projector is available in the United States at leading retailers with a one year limited parts and labor warranty for USD $499.99 (MSRP).
