NASHVILLE, TN. (Lava Records) - Lava Recording artists C. and John Butler Trio are headed to the farming town of Manchester, Tennessee June 11 and 12, respectively, to be part of the biggest, boldest Bonnaroo Festival yet. Both bands landed coveted invites to join the Dave Matthews Band, The Black Crowes, Joss Stone, Allison Krauss And Union Station, The Mars Volta, Trey Anastasio, Jack Johnson, Widespread Panic and more in perhaps the most impressive heavy hitting line-up in Bonnaroo's four year history. This marks both O.A.R.'s and John Butler Trio's second appearance on the mammoth festival.

O.A.R., who first appeared on Bonnaroo in 2003, plans to give festival goers a first taste of their highly anticipated new album, produced by Jerry Harrison, and expected for release on September 27, 2005. The five rockers will no doubt delight the estimated 90,000 strong crowd with their special blend of reggae rock. Bonnaroo will be a warm-up of sorts for O.A.R.'s largest summer tour undertaking to date, which will put the five-piece band in front of an estimated 263,000 fans beginning this July. O.A.R. has sold three quarters of a million albums and played to over 800,000 people in the last five years.

Australia's John Butler Trio, led by the extraordinarily talented guitarist John Butler, made their first appearance on Bonnaroo in 2003 while still an independently released import artist. The trio just released their U.S. major label debut Sunrise Over Seas, already a No 1 album down under, to incredible critical and commercial acclaim. According to the New York Post, [Butler] plays "the best acoustic soul since Dave Matthews," while Performing Songwriter calls Butler "a force to be reckoned with." The band has been the favorite of several U.S. festivals lately, topping the album sales list at both Austin City Limits and Jazzfest in New Orleans.
