SAN FRANCISCO, CA. (Club 6 announcement/ www.clubsix1.com) - 808 Media and I.T.S. present "Stylus: a live musical journey through the foundations of Hip Hop," on Friday, June 24, 2005 at Club Six, 60 6th St., San Francisco, CA 94103.

Stylus highlights the live roots of Hip-Hop and the future of the funk with an all-star lineup featuring Master of Ceremonies Pep Love of Hieroglyphics on the mic, BigG of The 808 Band on drums (playing the world's only "acoustic 808" bass drum, by African American Drum Co.), Kenny Brooks of Alphabet Soup on tenor saxophone, 4OneFunk DJs: Ales, B-Cause, Teeko on turntables and Lou Soprano of Noble House Records on acoustic and electric bass. With special guest DJ Satva keeping the party hype!
"We keep it fresh, and keep it funky," said drummer BigG, "Our roots are in Hip-Hop, and we celebrate the past by taking the music into the future with a dope live line up."
