COSTA MESA, CA. (Floodgate Records) - The Myriad is preparing to release their national debut CD 'You Can't Trust a Ladder' June 14, 2005 on Floodgate Records. Distribution is through Word Entertainment / WEA. Album release shows are planned in Seattle, WA and Redding, CA.

Produced by Aaron Marsh of the band Copeland, 'You Can't Trust a Ladder' tackles the topics of day to day life – faith, frustration, failure, forgiveness – all in a package that is creative, artistic and emotional.

Steven Tracy, guitarist and songwriter states, 'We wanted to write an album that allowed people to think about and plug in their own experiences. Everyone's story is unique, and we wanted to create a forum for sharing our stories while allowing people to find their own significance within the album.'

When asked about the recording, producer Marsh expressed, '"The Myriad is one of those bands that you just really want to work with. They merge intelligent lyrics, creative instrumentation and wrap it in a package that is as artistic as it is accessible. Making this record was a great experience."
