New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Made up of brothers Drew and Dylan Miller, alt-pop duo Cardiac Half returns with an intriguing single & video "
Clone" dropping on Friday, May 22nd. The song, featuring singer/rapper Wande, has an infectious hook with dreamy guitars and a bumping rhythm that seamlessly blend alternative rock and mainstream pop. The video itself continues the story from their previous single "
Medicine", bringing fans deeper into the eerie post-apocalyptic cinematic universe Cardiac Half has created.
"'Clone' is our homage to bands like Maroon 5, The 1975, LANY and Twenty One Pilots; we drew inspiration from the greats of our genre without losing ourselves by writing a song that sounded derivative. Our talented guest vocalist Wande adds dimension and weight to the track with her soaring vocals. This song is set in an original cinematic universe and supported by a narrative music video that will compel our fans to dive deeper into our albums storyline as we move forward" - Dylan Miller, Guitar & Vocals
Brother-fronted, pop duo Cardiac Half is anything but half-hearted. Brothers, Drew and Dylan Miller, form the duo, and have been making music under the name Cardiac Half since 2016. In the early months of 2018, the brothers began working with producer and engineer Ryan Wilson of HeyHey Studios and released three singles that year. The first single of 2019 "
Big Bad Wolf" has over 44K streams on Spotify. With the releases of "Secret Letters" and "
City Lights", the alternative pop genre has become more defined for the duo. The group's latest single, "
Medicine", was released on January 24th, 2020 with an accompanying music video introducing the audience to the groups original cinematic universe. The follow up single & video "
Clone" will be released on May 22nd and followed by a full album later in the year.
The Miller brothers want to do more with Cardiac Half than share music; they want to share their story. The name Cardiac Half holds significant meaning as Dylan lives with a heart condition, and Drew is deaf in his left ear. Together, they unite to craft emotional and memorable melodies that listeners won't soon forget.
