NASHVILLE, TN. (AristoMedia/ Gmv Records www.dannioneill.com) - GMV Music recording artist Danni O'Neill had a lot to be happy about this past week at the 2005 CMA Music Festival. On top of her signaling the official start of the festival with her performance of the National Anthem on Thursday (June 9), Danni was able to showcase her newest single "Breakin' It Down" from her debut album Picture Perfect. She performed that and her other recent hits during her show on the Greased Lightning ® Daytime Stage that same day.

Danni also walked away with a trophy for her involvement in The T.G.I. Friday's ® Sports Challenge that took place on Friday (June 10) in the Sports Zone. With two-dozen celebrities facing off in competitions including basketball, golf, hockey, football and baseball, Danni and her team (Country star Steve Azar, former NFL star Steve Cole and Nashville Kat Aaron McConnell), were able to win the big prize, placing first over all the other teams.

"I had such a great time this year at the CMA Music Festival," Danni said. "I really enjoyed the Sports Challenge because it was an opportunity to hang out with fellow artists and have a good time. It was for a great cause and I am glad that I was able to participate in it."
