NASHVILLE, TN. (Rhino Records) - Fun-loving hitmakers Sugar Ray take a victory lap as Rhino Records assembles the band's greatest sun-kissed modern rock hits along with previously unreleased songs for THE BEST OF SUGAR RAY. Featuring 15 tracks, Sugar Ray's first career-spanning collection is available June 21 at regular physical and digital retail outlets and at www.rhino.com for a suggested list price of $18.98.

THE BEST OF SUGAR RAY follows the band's decade-long evolution from its funk-metal origins to the catchy pop hits that catapulted them to stardom. The compilation includes essential tracks from Sugar Ray's five studio albums-Lemonade And Brownies, Floored, 14:59, Sugar Ray and In The Pursuit Of Leisure-recorded by singer Mark McGrath, guitarist Rodney Sheppard, bassist Murphy Karges, drummer Stan Frazier and turntablist Craig "DJ Homicide" Bullock. Along with the No 1 modern rock and Top 40 hit "Fly," THE BEST OF SUGAR RAY also includes the radio staples "Every Morning," "Someday," "Falls Apart" and "When It's Over," as well as an inspired cover of Joe Jackson's "Is She Really Going Out With Him?"

THE BEST OF SUGAR RAY is sure to please fans with two brand-new recordings: "Shot Of Laughter" and a cover of the Cyndi Lauper classic "Time After Time." Also included is the previously unreleased "Psychedelic Bee," which was written by Howard Stern and recorded during the Lemonade And Brownies sessions.

Sugar Ray formed in 1992 and paid their dues playing funk-metal around Los Angeles and San Diego before issuing their 1995 debut, Lemonade And Brownies. On the strength of the smash hit "Fly," the quintet's 1997 sophomore effort, Floored, became a double-platinum hit only to be outperformed by 1999's triple-platinum album, 14:59. The band's 2001 eponymous release debuted at No 6 on Billboard's Album chart, and was followed two years later by In The Pursuit Of Leisure.
