NASHVILLE, TN. (www.myspace.com/hipkitty) - Nashville based rock band 'Hip Kitty' participated in the CMA Festival in Nashville, TN for their 3rd year running.
This unique rock band is the ONLY band in the rock genre to be associated with this festival, which scored them several spots on Nashville's very own News Channel 5.
The fact that Hip Kitty is not Country, did not deter the fans during the festival. Their booth had continuous lines of people purchasing merchandise and asking for autographs. Hip Kitty's new demo CD 'My Forgiveness' was a huge success during the event.
The band did a benefit concert for The Hattie Larlham Foundation, which focuses on individuals with special needs and disabilities. Hip Kitty performed live at B.B.
Kings on Saturday night of the festival and the foundation raised money for this very worthy cause.
Hip Kitty obtained new fans during the event, which traveled to be there for the CMA festival. Some new fans gave feedback with comments such as this:

I recently attended the CMA festival and had an awesome time. But what made my time there so special was going to the Nashville Convention Center and getting to meet Hip Kitty. I loved them so much I returned to their booth several times to buy a t-shirt, photo's, cd's and guitar picks. You rarely find a band with such amazing talent and such love for their fans. Most in general don't seem excited to take pictures with their fans, yet Hip Kitty is so into their fans they even pick them up! I had so much fun getting to meet the members and talking to them. I wanted to send my appreciation to such a cool band. After coming to their booth their several times, I eventually joined the fan club. I wanted to return to their booth later that day to let them know I absolutely loved their CD but sadly I didn't get a chance to. I can't decide what my favorite song is yet, but I love how each one is so unique. I told a ton of my friends about Hip Kitty, and hopefully they too will fall in love with the band as much as I have. I hope to go to CMA festival in 2006, and I cross my fingers in hope that Hip Kitty will be there again. Thank you for making my vacation there so wonderful and thanks for such great music. I hope to see more of Hip Kitty in the future since they are now my favorite band.
