NEW YORK (RCA Records/ www.rcarecords.com) - Freshly back from a 10th Anniversary celebration at the site of the apocryphal Roswell NM UFO crash, Foo Fighters have cause to rejoice anew: The band's fifth album, the 2-disc In Your Honor has racked up the biggest sales week of their career, entering the Top 200 albums at No 2 and selling over 310,000 according to Nielsen SoundScan.

In addition their current single 'Best of You' is No 1 on the Media Base Rock Chart and has jumped from 18 to 8 on the Digital Tracks Chart. Every one of Foo Fighters' albums has seen a stronger debut sales week than its predecessor, with In Your Honor's first week sales more than doubling those of the band's previous album, One By One. In Your Honor's international sales have skyrocketed as well with No 1 albums this week in Australia, New Zealand & Sweden and No 2 albums in the UK, Norway & Ireland.

In Your Honor has also received the most positive critical response of the Foos' career to date, with THE NEW YORK TIMES hailing it as "an unexpected magnum opus," ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY calling it "the year's first great hot weather record," and THE LOS ANGELES TIMES adding "easily the best Foo Fighters record."

Foo Fighters return to the road for the foreseeable future this month, kicking off their European tour June 29 in Moscow. They will return to the States for a proper U.S. tour in September, following a second time headlining the prestigious Reading Festival.
