New York, NY (Top40 Charts) From Venus is a new project from multi-instrumentalist and creator Abi Crista D'Arcy (Vocals, Ukulele, Synth, beats). An ethereal singer-songwriter; From Venus features lo-fi beats and synth-tinged Folk, Trip-Pop, layered with catchy and emotive lyrics.
After touring extensively with big bands and living in the hustle and bustle of London, Abi relocated to the seclusion of the South Downs near Brighton to start writing for her new solo project - From Venus.
Music is and has always been her way of expression, connection and healing.
Promising a journey of discovery, contemplation and rejuvenation for the listener, From Venus produces sincere soundscapes that capture the essence of hope and change. With an ethos that is centred on principles of love, equality, awakening, belonging, and unity, From Venus leans on a diverse and eclectic palate of earthly musical genres delineated as Folk, Electronica, Rhythm, Blues, Soul and Pop.

With four singles set for release in 2020, this is a debut collection of songs by From Venus. Working with acclaimed producer and engineer Jag Jago (Macabees,
Jessie Ware, Mastodon, The Magic Gang) who has mixed and mastered all four tracks.
Debut single 'Fire' was released May 22nd 2020 Listen to 'FIRE' here. The premise of this song lies with the idea of re-awakening the fire within - the purest essence of who we are without the veil of 'overthinking' that holds us back from expressing our truest form. Out August 28, third single 'Unconditional' is a simplistic arrangement comprising of From Venus' signature vocals together with ukulele, soft synths and electronic beats. Sonically squeezing your soul to let you know that everything's going to be alright, the song is a message of love to lift your heart.
Fourth single 'Apple of His Eye' is due for release October 30, followed by From Venus' debut EP released December 1st 2020 which will be pressed onto a limited run of eco-vinyl.
All 3 tracks so far have received support from BBC Introducing, with debut single Fire being selected for featured artist.
