Cinera Edge, An Immersive 5K Personal Movie Theater Headset, Shifts Sales To Indiegogo After Impressive $1.3 Million Kickstarter Campaign
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) We look forward to continuing our momentum from Kickstarter on to Indiegogo and would like to thank all of our backers for their amazing support.
Cinera Edge, the world's first Head Mount Display (HMD) with dual 2.5K micro OLED and Dolby Digital certified 5.1 surround sound headphones, will now move pre-orders to Indiegogo InDemand after a successful Kickstarter campaign that raised over $1.3 million.

More than 2,400 backers have pre-ordered Cinera Edge, which is the first true mobile cinema that delivers a real theatrical immersive experience with extraordinary video and sound quality.

The personal home theater will feature micro-OLED that packs 3.7 million (2560x1440) pixels into a tiny 0.8inch screen that transforms into a 120-inch movie screen experience with certified Dolby Digital 5.1 channel surround sound headphones.
"We look forward to continuing our momentum from Kickstarter on to Indiegogo and would like to thank all of our backers for their amazing support," said Peter Lin, founder of Cinera.

Cinera's screen is as large as 120" (10-feet) from a 20m distance or 66-degree wide horizontally, wider than a standard 54-degree cinema screen and nearly as wide as IMAX's signature 70-degree screen.

Cinera Edge is Dolby Digital certified so it can process high resolution audio without quality degrade. With four speaker drivers at each side, Cinera Edge recreates 5.1 surround sound configuration as in a movie theater.

Cinera, which combines Cine + Era for its vision of the future of movie cinemas, runs on a full Android OS and can be used with today's popular streaming apps via Wi-Fi with no need for an external device.

Cinera's smart design focuses the weight on the two sides, leaving less pressure in the front pieces and on the user. With an ergonomically designed body, Cinera Edge is easy to wear comfortably for many hours.

While it was designed for movies, Cinera can also be connected via HDMI cable to play video games, watch sports and TV shows, pilot drones, and use it on PC. Cinera also features a micro SD card for users to bring their favorite content with them when traveling.
For more information and to pre-order the Cinera Edge visit Indiegogo InDemand.

Cinera was founded in 2016 by a group of movie fans who are passionate about movies, technology and elegant product design. The Cinera team successfully launched their first-generation product - a 5K Head Mounted Display in 2017 on Kickstarter and raised over $300K from more than 600 backers on Kickstarter and Indiegogo. In 2020, Cinera announced its sequel - an HMD with the latest micro OLED technology with 2560x1440 pixels in a 0.8inch area. Cinera Edge also has an embedded Dolby Digital certified 5.1 surround sound headphone.
