New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Gävle, Sweden-based grinders of Gadget premiere a new song named "Funerary Rites", taken from their upcoming new full-length, which will arrive later in the year.
The vocalist Emil Englund, who has been with the band since 2001, isn’t on it. Englund left Gadget in 2019, and the band will release a handful of songs with a handful of vocalists in his place.
"After almost 20 years Emil has decided to leave the band. Well, actually he left the band last year.
"Johan of INFRACTION/Prescriptiondeath helped us out on the last gig we did and was also supposed to join us for Dreadfest this year.
"We will have some friends doing vocals on a couple of recordings that we’ve been working on for some time, Johan is one of them. Emilia from Radium Grrrls, Ethan of Vermin Womb/Primitive Man and Ufuk of Walk Through Fire is other great names worth mentioning. After that we’ll see what the future holds."
"Funerary Ties" features the aforementioned vocalist, Johan Lundmark.
