Songwriter, Poet, Americana Artist Ted Murray Jones Is Back With A Brand New Album
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Sometimes a man has to take the long road home and this man, Ted Murray Jones, walked the entire Appalachian Trail until he arrived back home in Humboldt Tennessee. For a ton of years Ted camped out in Nashville and wrote songs and created music with his friends, this was his passion. He earned the respect of those that got to know him and his creations. The man writes pure Americana / Alt Country. He pens the music that flows freely in his soul. Love songs that convey the deep connection between two people and not just in good times either. Ted's newest album reveals those deep personal special connections between two souls over the span of time. Sometimes that span is short and painful and then again sometimes the span is long, full of warmth and wonder. Ted captures both on his new release. The album's musical presentation is crisp, clear, and the comfortable, mellow voice of this vocalist and his background singers are brought together in superb manner. The weave is beyond just notable, the experience is par excellence. For example on track one "Overture/Every Passing Day" the track begins with a subdued crescendo of anticipation that unfolds into a full blown rhythmic story telling presentation. The change up is completely unanticipated. Track two on the other hand is a vast departure from the first as it immediately incorporates a commanding lead guitar and the drums, mic'd perfect, are more prominent this time around. The lyrics reveal frustration, that gnawing sensation that a person feels when they love someone that won't love them back. This song would definitely not work had the songwriter introduced it to the world in a more diminutive format. The complete twelve track release is an adventure through the mysteries of love gained, love lost. The compilation even delivers the pining that a couple can feel for one another when they are not quite in the groove as a couple yet. Highly relatable and possibly a licensing opportunity within the world of cinema as the album captures real life dramas to their fullest. Radio audiences as well are sure to enjoy the comfortable approach of Ted's newest release as it delivers a notable range of emotions and tempos. The album, "l'amour c'est de l'ouvrage" is a keeper and may find its way beyond the norm and well into major AAA play. A sample Soundcloud link for your immediate review is included below. It can also be noted that Ted Jones friend and Nashville producer Ray Barnette will be handing the A&R duties on the new album including off shore performance bookings into Europe and Australia.
