NASHVILLE, TN. (www.nealmccoy.com) - Neal McCoy, a perennial favorite at the Hodag Country Festival in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, was greeted by a sea of inflated breeders gloves waving in the air on Saturday night as 33,000 fans cheered him on as he took the stage to close the show. The spectacle and McCoy's supercharged show was caught on film by eight high-defintion cameras for a Neal McCoy live concert DVD due out in early 2006. The breeder glove tradition began nearly 15 years ago when McCoy first performed at Hodag and the number of gloves filling the festival grounds has grown each year becoming a symbol of the fans' adoration for the multi-platinum country music dynamo. Also keeping with festival tradition, among his many on-stage antics, country's original rap master made the nail-biting climb up the rafters and onto the stage's roof during his rhythm-and-rhyme rumination of the fan-favorite, "Hillybilly Rap." Scott Mahalick, founder of Groovpix, the company producing the live concert DVD, comments on McCoy's performance, 'Neal is one of country music's most charismatic live performers ever and we captured the excitement that he brings to the stage. His Hodag performance was the most memorable live musical experience I've ever encountered." McCoy's upcoming album, titled That's Life, is scheduled for release on August 23 as the debut CD on 903 Music, the record label he formed earlier this year. His current radio single is 'Billy's Got His Beer Goggles On' and its accompanying music video can be seen on CMT and GAC, where it is currently at No 2 on its 'Top 20 Country Countdown'.
