SYDNEY, Australia (SONY BMG Music Australia) - Get ready to feel Seether's karma and effect when they hit town next week. With instores in Sydney and Melbourne lined up, plus visits to Channel V, Triple M and Nova, the guys are about to share their remedy for rocking hard!

Seether are about to embark upon their first-ever Australian tour, and have now added instore appearances in Sydney and Melbourne to their schedule, Nice! Shaun, Dale, Pat and John will be at Utopia Records in Sydney from 6pm on July 19 ready to sign copies of their awesome new album 'Karma And Effect', as well as JB Hi-Fi, Bourke St in Melbourne on July 22 from 4.30pm.

The guys will also be dropping past Channel V on July 21 at 5.30pm for an acoustic performance and chat with Yumi, so get that into your diary now! The sounds of Seether will also be filtering through the radio waves all week - Listen out for the rockers on Triple M and Nova while they're in town.

The guys have been looking forward to getting back on the road and interacting with fans, and say that after visiting a town a number of times, they establish something akin to friendship with their fans.

"You know people by name, you recognise faces and people respect that," says Shaun. "If you can come by and play enough and put on a good show and maybe hang out, there are people that appreciate that kind of thing. That's what we love to do anyway."

Basically the album is just a way for us to get back out on the road and party. We want most of all to be able to play those clubs and get offstage and walk into the crowd and hang out with people. You can't do that in an arena. We want to meet the people that are still at the bar when we finish."

And with 'Karma And Effect', they have a hell of an album to tour - it's heavier than their first record 'Disclaimer' and more melodic, too - the perfect songs to deliver live. Featuring the blistering single 'Remedy', 'Karma And Effect' proves that Seether are not only a band, but a band with a distinctive, captivating voice. Don't miss them!

Seether's instore appearances:
Tuesday, July 19 - Utopia, George St, Sydney, 6pm
Friday, July 22 - JB Hi Fi, Village Centre, Bourke St, Melbourne, 4.30pm
'Karma And Effect' is in stores now. First single 'Remedy' is out on August 7
