NEW YORK (Jive Records) - R. Kelly's TP.3 Reloaded debuts this week as the No 1 selling album on both Billboard's Album 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Charts. TP.3 Reloaded is the 5th best selling debut album of 2005 after 50 Cent (2 weeks in a row), The Game and Coldplay. The album is also the No 2 selling album on the Internet Chart and No 4 selling album on the Digital Chart according to Soundscan. R. Kelly is the 4th best selling solo Male artist in Soundscan history.

TP.3 Reloaded is R. Kelly's 9th Top 5 debut and his 5th No 1 album. The No 1 single "Trapped In the Closet" is currently the No 1 played video on BET and VH-1. The video is also in heavy rotation on MTV, MTV2 and VH-1. "Playa's Only featuring The Game" is currently playing on both BET and MTV2.

R. Kelly's first release was over 15 years ago; he is a true musical icon and has sold well over 36 million albums worldwide. R. Kelly is a multi-winning Grammy, Billboard, Soul Train and American Music Award winner. He has co-directed all of his music videos since the classic "Down Low (Nobody Has To Know)."

"Trapped in the Closet Chapters 1-5," which was shot in High Definition format, is reminiscent of the serial movies of yesteryear full of suspense, mystery, drama and packed with unexpected twists and turns. To put it in modern terms its "Desperate Housewives" meets "Desperate Husbands."
You will definitely ask to see this domestic drama again and again. The entire "Trapped" can be seen only on the bonus DVD of TP.3 Reloaded.

The critics have hailed TP.3 Reloaded as one of the best of the year. Reviews include:
- USA Today (***1/2)" ... TP.3 has plenty of the mack fantasy jams that are staples of Kelly's repertoire ... "Trapped In The Closet has kept radio airwaves and phone lines abuzz ... "
- Rolling Stone (***1/2) " ... The nineteen tracks TP.3 Reloaded is a return to form ... "
- Blender (****) " ... On TP.3 the floodgates are back open ... "Trapped in the Closet" is, first and foremost, a brilliant triumph ... "
- The New York Times " ... On R. Kelly's latest album, "TP.3 Reloaded" ... he is now the unquestioned master of the ultra-slow groove ... the album's tour de force is the five-part "Trapped in the Closet" ... "
- Billboard " ... Kelly's talent for penning original, infectious grooves remain intact ... "
- The Source " ... R. Kelly ha re-upped his musical arsenal on TP3: Reloaded ... Kelly entertains from beginning to end ... continues his storied career with pure musical genius"
- Newark Star Ledger " ... Utterly unlike anything else R. Kelly - or anyone else-has ever recorded, "Trapped in the Closet" will keep you listening ... "
- Associated Press " ... Even after hearing the "Trapped" songs a dozen times, they're still stirring, demonstrating Kelly's ability to draw in listeners ... It's hard to imagine any other artist, in any genre, with such a gift."
