 NEW YORK (www.mekolewells.com) - Jazz artist Me kole Wells loves what she's doing. With a heart full of soul and a voice full of power, she gave her all on her latest CD, Full Circle, providing us with a glance into who she is a woman and entertainer. Me kole pursued her professional career in both acting and singing with a special and unique kind of determination, that has bought her to where she is today. Singing since the age of five, Me kole traveled the United States performing with such artists as Jonathan Butler, Big Daddy Kane, Carl Anderson, Keiko Matsui, and Princess. In 1989 she signed with a subsidiary of RCA Records called Bassment Records under the stage name "ELEESA" where she's had 3 Top 40 dance singles. In addition to being nominated for a Out Award, in the category of Outstanding New Recording, Debut Female, she's currently performing the lead in the off Broadway musical, Menopause, and recording her second CD, Stories N Life, due to be released December 2005. When asked about the direction of her career, Me Kole states, 'It has been a lot of work and I am only at the beginning so I know there's more work to come.
