"When I wrote these songs I was just starting to believe in myself as an artist. I put a lot of my personal feels into this body of work. It's dark, swaggy, sarcastic, bouncy, broken-hearted and ends with the title track 'Curtains' in the most explosive and freeing way," shares Jackie Vae. "'Curtains" was also the last song I wrote so my headspace at the time was past the trenches and breathing outside the wounds instead of through them. I want to bring catharsis and make the listener feel like a dominant, empowered badass."
