John Leslie Hulcombe - Born Of The Fire
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The greater part of John's life has oscillated around musical frequencies and travel. Having fulfilled his wanderlust in search of spiritual inspiration and adventure in India, he has now returned to Australia, this time looking to immerse himself in a world of sound and sonics in which he is the musical pivot.

Born and based in Brisbane, John first established himself as a musician via a series of recordings with John Rix, who was then the president of the Queensland Recording Association. During this period, he was also the lead singer of the Grunge band 'The Baptists'. However, after a handful of gigs, the band disbanded, leading to John temporarily putting his musical dream on hold in pursuit of travel, work and marriage.

Now back creating a soulful blend of Country, Folk and Rock, John is more inspired than ever before to write, sing and perform. 2020 saw the official return of John Leslie Hulcombe through his song 'Town of Love'. Beautifully telling a story of love, friendship and homecoming, it received airtime on several radio stations and made the shortlist for an Australian Songwriters Association Award. His track 'Born of The Fire' has attracted critical reception, with one Spotify curator commenting "when you're writing songs like this, how could you not explode? Well done!"

Next up for the multi-talented Australian singer/songwriter is the release of his next single, 'Born of the Fire' (16th April 2021), which revolves around strong and confronting themes of redemption. Keep up to date with all things John Leslie Hulcombe via Facebook
