BURBANK, CA. (Warner Records) - With their debut album approaching platinum status, BME/Warner Bros. recording group
Trillville is poised to deliver a second serving full of bonified crunk bangers on their highly anticipated sophomore album, "TRILLVILLE: RELOADED."
Trillville is keeping it all the way gangster when it comes to anyone fretting over the album title. With R. Kelly's latest dubbed "TP3 Reloaded" and Brooklyn rapper Lil Cease's DVD titled "Reloaded," there are those who think Trillville should try something fresher. But Trillville is A-town stomping any plans for change. "They want us to change the title, but we ain't changing nothin', 'cuz we the ones with hot music. All of the songs we've released so far have been chart toppers," says Don P. "R. Kelly and Cease must have seen our early commercials and thought our title was hot, so they used it."
The boisterous and brash trio that brought us the number one bedroom crunk record of 2005 "Some Cut," promises to come fully armed with hits that will blow your mind. "We had a successful first album, near platinum and that sold with a little bit of ammunition," says group member Don P. "With this second album we are going to hit them with a full clip. We've reloaded and we gonna kill 'em."
Already backing up the talk is the infectious street single "I'm Pimpin," featuring the BME Clique's newest member West Coast icon E-40. If you didn't get some cut the last time out, this one is sure to please. "It's a bedroom crunk song that speaks about girls that don't usually cut on the first night," says Don P. "But we came at them with so much game they felt it necessary to do what they don't usually do. And that's cut on the first night."
But never mind the dramatics; let's stay focused on the task at hand. With the King of Crunk, Lil Jon, manning the boards and additional production by Don Vito, Don P, 3 6 Mafia, label mate Lil Jay from Crime Mob and Shawty Red, the backdrop for "Reloaded" is sure to be a bow-throwing, bed-breaking bonanza. Also, trust that Trillville will have a worthy crew in tow on this one. In addition to E-40, check for label mate and newcomer Bohagon when "Reloaded" hits stores later this year.
Trillville is gearing up to spread the wealth when they descend on the masses through various promo dates. Checkout their website www.trillville.com for a date near you. With all of this ammunition and while coming off a near-platinum debut, the trio has no other choice than to name their sophomore release "Reloaded!"
