NASHVILLE, TN. (Chris Cagle Official Website) - The highly anticipated third album from country music recording artist Chris Cagle, Anywhere But Here, is scheduled for release on Tuesday, October 4.

Throughout the 11-song collection, Cagle reminds everyone of his signature rockin' country sound that he is best known for. The album's debut single "Miss Me Baby," written by Cagle and co-writer Monty Powell, is currently in Top 40 of both Billboard and R&R country singles charts. The video, filmed near the Mojave Desert, will make its premier on CMT Top Twenty Countdown tonight, August 18 at 8:00pm Eastern.

When Cagle broke onto the scene in 2000 with his in-your-face country style, he quickly attracted the attention of music fans nationwide. Within no time, he had his own cult of fans who simply referred to themselves as "Cagleheads." Everybody sat up and took note of this superstar in the making.

Cagle's debut album Play It Loud spawned his first number one hit, "I Breathe In, I Breathe Out," as well as other hit singles including "Laredo" and "Country By The Grace Of God." When he released his second Capitol Records album, Cagle showed no signs of the famous 'sophomore jinx' when Chris Cagle debuted at the No 1 position on Billboard's Top Country Album chart. The album contained the Top 5 hits "What A Beautiful Day" and "Chicks Dig It." Both albums went on to be certified Gold by the end of 2003.

Now, after several months of much needed vocal rest from playing over 600 shows in only three years, Cagle is ready to pick up where he left off with his latest release that he feels will go over well with his fans.

"I've got a lot of high hopes for this record," Cagle says. "I tried to make music that was better without necessarily making it different because I love the music that I have made in the past.
