New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Dillon Carmichael's "Hot Beer" song, a "12-ounce can of sarcastic, commercial potential" (Billboard), has been climbing country radio, and today (5.14), he shares his 'Hot Beer' collection, ahead of a full LP expected later this year. Carmichael also shares an adorable visualizer for highlight track "Big Truck," featuring his fiancé, here: youtu.be/s5ZlAaOPElQ
The collection features a cover of Montgomery Gentry's "Lucky Man," showcasing Carmichael's uncanny vocal resemblance to his uncle Eddie Montgomery. He tries to outrun the memory of an old girlfriend on "Somewhere She Ain't," then acknowledges that nobody could compare to who he didn't know he was missing in "Since You've Been In It." The collection closes with the blush-inducing humor of "Sawin' Logs" — In which he hopes his lady isn't hitting the snooze button when it's time for some intimacy. The song went viral on TikTok earlier this year with more than 3 million views in its first week.
On 'Hot Beer,' Carmichael enlists A-list country songwriters known for their down-home humor like HARDY, Ashley Gorley, Jessi Alexander,
David Lee Murphy, Ben Hayslip and others.
Carmichael has shows slated for May, June, July and September, and fans can find tickets and more information at dilloncarmichael.com.
