'Wounds' is the dark tale of a countryside girl leaving for the city to start a new life. Unfortunately, she falls prey to a monster man whose controlling ways makes her life a living nightmare. In the first verse and the choruses, Vinny talks to her after she freed herself from her abuser. In the other verses, he describes her ordeal.

Death of Death were born out of the first UK lockdown. The world is going to shit, immersed in fear, and people are dying everywhere, being indoors 24/7 aside from a weekly trip to the shops, wearing masks and gloves. Social media is becoming the only window to the world and an ugly one at that.
