eMusic Live Becomes The First Livestream Platform To Offer NFTs Alongside Performances
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) eMusic Live today announced they will be offering artist NFTs alongside ticketed events running on the livestream platform, beginning Tuesday, June 15 with The Aces performing from Los Angeles' legendary Conway Recording Studios as part of LA Pride. A limited amount of tickets sold for this and future events will come with a free NFT and be made available on the Ethereum sidechain Polygon (formerly Matic), which will support the NFTs with minimal energy consumption and environmental impact. Tickets for The Aces are on sale now.

The eMusic Live platform launched in August 2020, and is the first-of-its-kind platform for the live music industry to stage virtual concerts that create unique artist-to-fan experiences online and provide the most direct commercial opportunities around live gigs for artists, including ticketing, hi-res music sales, sponsorships, merchandise, and more. eMusic Live has broadcast performances globally from New York, Los Angeles, London, Las Vegas, Melbourne, Perth, Vancouver, and Tel Aviv, by artists including Crowded House, Tina Arena, Alfie Boe, Said the Whale, and more.

"eMusic Live is pleased to be the first commercially available livestream platform to offer NFTs," said Tamir Koch, eMusic President and 7digital Chairman. "At launch, we have the largest music community of anyone doing NFTs, and a livestream platform that gives artists the only end-to-end monetization options offering engagement, sponsorship, merchandising and chat experiences directly to fans from artists. By offering NFTs, we are leading the way for the evolution of digital merchandising, substantially increasing the monetization for artists. We are happy to have The Aces with us on what will be an exciting ride."

The Aces will be giving 300 fans a special edition event poster NFT designed by The Aces with the purchase of their general admission ticket, which will include digital signatures from each band member. The NFT will also be included in any merch ticket bundle purchase.

Offering a one-of-a-kind experience, The Aces' livestream will feature performances hit singles including their latest release "Don't Freak," while offering intimate conversations and discussions from several of the band members about their own personal coming out stories, as well as what it means to be a part of the LGBTQ+ community.
"We are so excited to partner with eMusic Live for our PRIDESTREAM and to venture into the world of NFTs to connect with our fans in a new way," said The Aces. "Our drop will commemorate this one-of-a-kind experience for LA Pride that we're producing with an authentic piece of art created by the band."
