New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The award-winning pop artist Eli Rose has shared two brand-new songs, the French-language single "L'orage" and its English-language counterpart titled, "The Rain." The undeniably catchy tracks come just in time for summer via Maison Barclay Canada/Universal Music.
"The last year felt like a roller coaster ride, it included some great highs (like winning an ADISQ), but also some low lows, like I'm sure everyone experienced else this year," Eli Rose commented. "I'll be a mother in a couple of months - I'm SO excited! And I had the urge to create a catchy, dance song, perfect for the summer," she continued. "As I work on my second album and wait for the arrival of my baby, I present you with a sad bop that, I hope will convince you that stormy days and grey skies are behind us!"
The new tracks, co-written with John-Adam Howard, along with Carole Facal for the "
The Rain", are a tease of what's ahead. Eli Rose is currently working on her sophomore album, which will include collaborations with Nk.F [Angèle, Louane], Connor Seidel [Charlotte Cardin, Alex Porat], Realmind [AllieX] and the lyricist Gaële.
Rose has been busy making waves in the Quebecois and Canadian music scene and has no plans of stopping. For her debut self-titled album (Eli Rose, 2019) she teamed up with la crème de la crème of Montreal's creators: Nf.F (Angèle, Orelsan, PNL), Ruffsound (Koriass, Loud, Dua Lipa), June Nawakii (Nicki Minaj), DRMS (SOMM, Ariane Moffatt), Billboard (Ellie Goulding, Britney Spears) and Mike Clay (of Clay and Friends). Rose continues to prove she's one to watch; winning ADISQ's 2020 Best New Artist and taking home the award for Pop Song of the Year for her hit "Carrousel" at the 2020 Gala de la SOCAN. The Montreal-based singer has impressively scored three top ten radio hits ("Soleil,""Carrousel" and "Emmène-moi") and over fourteen million global streams digitally and counting. The future for Eli Rose is bright.
