Justin Liquid Anderson decided at a young age to only release one classic cult album per decade and after a chance meeting with film director and The Jesus and Mary Chain originator
Douglas Hart he burst onto the scene with the release of 'Frealism' by Freaky Realistic. Having secured a deal with Polydor, this dance pop project really snowballed into big budget videos, 'singles of the week 'from the NME to
Smash Hits, Vogue shoots styled by Isabella Blow together with appearances on The WordTV show. The band's nineties pop bubble burst soon after, but the classic 'Koochie Ryder' single is the actor Bill Nighy's Desert Island Disc.
Escaping from the West end club life to Peckham Rye, Anderson teamed up with Barry 7 and Andrew Aveling to form electronic pioneers Add N To (X) for a performance at Paul Tunkin's Blow Up Clubon the HMS Belfast. Following the release of the 'Vero Electronics' album, Justin had moved on again and was now recording with the short lived, but much loved Gold Star with Richard Norris (The Grid)
A move to Shoreditch to set up HQ studios, clubs and festivals with Percy Parker's PPQ Clothingand Sean McLusky's 1234 Records was next and he honed his production skills to early recordings for The Libertines, Whitey and Hairy Diamond together with an association to acclaimed London clubs such as Happiness Stan' sand Renegade Pop.
This emerging club / bar scene in East London saw him connect with the Tummy Touch label and they released the acclaimed 'Turn On' long player by the frontman's new outfit Mains Ignition who were acclaimed by the likes of AndrewWeatherall and Jarvis Cocker, who took them on the Forest Tour with Pulp,
