ATHENS, GREECE (Top40 Charts) Deaf Radio is a modern rock band formed in Athens, Greece, in 2015. Their debut album, "Alarm", was released in 2017 to critical acclaim, as was their sophomore album, "Modern Panic" (15 Nov 2019).

Having shared bills with the likes of The Killers, The Kills, All Them Witches (and scheduled performances with IDLES & The National) and with two European tours, Deaf Radio honed the sound and feel of their music on the road, live and in-person with thousands of fans in over forty different cities.

As chief proponents of modern rock, Deaf Radio has been hailed as one of the most exciting rock bands to emerge from Greece in recent memory. "Alarm" garnered a million streams online, while the band's second creation, "Modern Panic", left no ear unturned with its sprawling and exhilarating style. The lead single "Astypalea" was included in the "Tracks of the week" section of the legendary Classic Rock Magazine and aired on KEXP Seattle, USA. During the first day of Modern Panic's release, all the limited-edition vinyls were sold and, shortly after, the band held its biggest sold-out show in Athens.

Unavoidably, the pandemic halted Deaf Radio's plans for more tours and gigs. They made the most out of the idle time by striping-down 4 of their songs and performing them live online in the "Reworked" session. They were also invited in Europe's biggest industry showcase, ESNS 2021 & were selected to represent Greece in the HEMI Music Awards.
