NEW YORK (Da Producers announcement) - Da Producers, the camp that brought you Marvin Gaye's 'Let's Get It On' remix on critically acclaimed 'Motown Remixed' CD, have released their brand new album "The Official Steppers Music CD". The disc contains 10 tracks and is actually a 'soundtrack' to a string of successful steppers events held every year all across the USA. Darryl L. Davis and his partner Pete Frasier (of PDP Productions) have managed to capture these events and turn out a popular DVD that shows you how to step as well as gives you the history of stepping. 'The Official Steppers Music CD' is a natural extension of this highly popular proceeding, recorded and produced by Da Producers from New York City in conjunction with PDP Producions out of Chicago.

'Da Producers (of Marvin Gaye Lets Get it On Remix fame) make an album full of steppers aimed at the Chicago stepping scene (soul's answer to line dancing!) but ideal for the UK's Modern soul scene,' Malcolm X Abram from Beacon Journal writes. '80's style productions, strong lead vocals and a heavy modern soul beat.' B.B. of Blues and Soul Review adds: '"The Official Steppers Music CD" is a wonderful collection which I'm going to dub (unless someone's beaten me to it!) 'The best modern soul collection of the year'.. Which, of course, means it not really 'modern' (apart from the fact that it's new).' The album has just received the 'album of the month' status from TheSoulOfAmsterdam.com.

All 4 members of Da Producers have a long track record in the music business. Paul Simpson began as a re-mixologist for New York's WBLS and KISS-FM. He later produced dance charters for Adeva and hits such as Serious Intention's 'You Don't Know,' a party anthem heard everywhere from the TV show Soul Train to the movie She's Gotta Have It to Coke commercials) Barbara Roy's 'Gotta See You Tonight,' Penny Ford's 'Daydreaming' and Luther Vandross' 'Take You Out.' As a remixer, he has worked with Patti LaBelle, The Jacksons, Spinners, Tamia and Angie Stone.

Kwasi 'Kwas' Pecou began as a DJ and went on to become a remixer/producer with such projects as Gerald Levert (Elektra) ' Thinking about it', Keith Sweat (Elektra) 'Come get with me' Rah Digga Version, Dru Hill ' Never Make a promise' remix and tracks for Spinderella (Red Ant) and D'bora 'Honey' ( MWA) UK, The Bondsmen Cometh (Easy Street and Paradyce Slammin Sammy Sosa(2SCP) and If the Ocean had a Voice Compilation.

Craig Chang began his music as choir vocalist performing with a number world-renowned conductors and orchestras. As a composer in music for advertising, he has worked on projects for Mercedes Benz, Volvo, New Balance, Foot Locker, Coca Cola Burger King and many others. As a producer in the recording industry he has had the opportunity to work with the likes of Aaron and Damion Hall, Bob Power, Paul Anthony and Several others.

Miles Dalto the youngest of the four writer/producer who is quickly making his mark in the music industry. He is currently on the Billboard Charts with a Remix that he Co-produced, Marvin Gaye's 'Let's Get It On, Miles discography includes The Official Steppers Music CD, which was released in May 2005. The singles 'This is a Party', 'Windy City', and 'Step it Up', are co-written by Miles. 'Stepper's Paradise', an instrumental funk track written by Miles Dalto is playing on contemporary jazz radio. As a composer in music for advertising, Miles can be heard in the New Tanqueray commercials featuring Tony Sinclair, several IRS Commercials, and New Balance Footwear commercials as well as many others he's loaned his polished, composing, keyboard and arrangement skills to.

'As Da Producers for the past 18 months we have had the pleasure to work on a re-mix for TVT Records artist Tedra Moses' hit single ' I Wanna Be Your Girl', as well as the hit re-make of Marvin Gaye's 'Let's get it on' on the Motown Remixed project which has charted all throughout Billboard,' Kwasi Pecou says. 'We also have the Philly Steps project with the Barbara Mason Classic 'Yes I'm ready' the Hand dance remixes on J/G Records. We Also Have a new release 'The Official Steppers Music CD' a 10 song CD with 5 cuts written and produced by da Producers, which is selling real well. We have recently submitted tracks to Cece Penniston, Dawn Robinson (Envogue), Toni Norville, Samantha Cole, Tyrese and few others. We also are producing a few others in hope of signing them.'
