Cross-Channel Music Releases Single 'Bygone Days' From Upcoming Album 'Man In A Dream'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Cross-Channel Music is the indie pop-folk project of French London-based singer songwriter Pierre Lassegues. This new single 'Bygone Days' is our first taste of the upcoming album 'Man in a Dream'. It's out THIS FRIDAY 23RD JULY.
The songs span across a variety of styles: lo-fi folk, upbeat synth pop, melancholic ballads or raw garage rock
They were written in Paris between 2000 and 2012 and were mixed and mastered by Robin Downe and Loys Couet in February and March 2021.
The next single, 'Butter on hot toast', a raw blues rock track that ends in romantic crooning will be released on Friday 10th September, along with the album.

Cross-Channel Music is the indie pop-folk project of French London-based singer songwriter Pierre Lassegues.
After an early and unlikely viral hit in 2006 with a song about the professional swimmer Laure Manaudou - which benefited from the timely release of leaked photos - Lassegues was the frontman and songwriter of the Parisian band Bradford Musical, before moving to London in 2012.
There, he played bass in The Hertz Complex and Everything by Electricity, before deciding to go back to his love of songwriting.

The style of his music is undoubtedly indie, but covers a wide range of mood and genres. Some songs are orchestral, warm and elegant (think Father John Misty or The National) while others are more upbeat and playful, be it in a raw garage rock or catchy electro-pop style.
Lyric-wise, expect a combination of poetry and wry humour.

Cross-Channel's Music first EP, 'Average Rock Star' and the single 'Turtle', were released on October 4th 2019.
It was recorded by Jim Wallis (My Sad Captain, Blurred Moon) at Bella Union studio.
The forthcoming album, 'Man in a Dream', will be released on October 1st, 2021, with collaborations with video artist Fluid.Lab and illustrator Yannick Rigour.
