New York, NY (Top40 Charts) During Gamescom's Opening Night Live hosted by Geoff Keighley, world renowned electronic artist deadmau5 announced that he is developing Oberhasli, a virtual world and music experience, exclusively on Core. Designed as an interactive space for fans to hangout, Oberhasli will be an evolving online space with music, games, and other interactive content curated and created by deadmau5. Fans will be able to socialize, play games, and participate in music performances when Oberhasli debuts on Core October 14 with a live concert featuring deadmau5 and friends.
This is the second time deadmau5 has collaborated with Core's creators. Earlier this summer, he asked the Core community to create the settings and worlds for the music video for his latest single "When The Summer Dies" with musician, singer and songwriter, Lights. That video is in production and will be released in September.
Check out Core for yourself now. It's completely free to play and create on the platform. If you download through the Epic Games Store, you'll unlock a free character and mount pack worth $200 - just for playing! And if you play by August 29, you'll also get a set of Gamescom-themed t-shirts and hoodies for your Core characters.
