New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today, platinum-selling alt-rocker grandson releases an alternative version of "Rain" remixed by The Suicide Squad star Idris Elba (who plays Bloodsport in the film). The original version of "Rain" is the official single of The Suicide Squad and the new offering provides a clubby and uptempo rework of the "atmospheric slow burn" (Ones To Watch). A perfect song to close out the summer, the track even features a guest verse from Idris.
"We shot a sequence in the rain and I remember it feeling like a music video at the time,"Idris Elba shares about filming the movie. "In my head, I thought how sick it would be to write a song about the rain sequence. When I heard grandson and Jessie's song I was so happy to get a chance to remix it and contribute it to the universe."
