New York, NY (Top40 Charts) London based singer, songwriter and rapper Lu.Ci shares new single 'I Need You', out now on all streaming platforms. Seamlessly fusing slick electronic production, thoughtful lyrics and Lu.Ci's vocal both singing and rapping, the song explores the feeling of helplessness many people felt during the national lockdown.

Speaking of the track, Lu.Ci says, "I wrote the song during lockdown as it was a real surreal experience, life as we know it had been ripped away from us and I wanted to document it artistically. I felt lost within this period, and it dawned on me that the whole of the country, the world, were going through this same experience all at once. None of us were truly alone. Even if we had lost a part of ourselves, we were experiencing this together. That's when I found my inspiration to create this track.
I started writing the lyrics, which naturally started as poetry and turned into a rap. My producer, Steve, Jampact recordings, came up with this amazing, ambient, electro beat and that's when the magic happened."

Lu.Ci started singing from a young age, studying music and performing in musicals. She started writing poetry from the age of 12. "I remember when I was younger and I stole an album from my father, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and I've been singing ever since. There is nothing more therapeutic than singing, there's something very spiritual about it. It's my meditation."
